Welcome to Ottawa Lumber Bin

Hi! OLB is a woodworking venture born out of love for woodworking, figuring out how things work and filming it all!

I come from a blue collar family. I've always naturally gravitated towards that kind of stuff, particularly wood. I remember always begging my dad to let me help with whatever he was doing in the garage that day, and in his infinite patience, always found me something to do.

I was a first responder in my local hometown, but suddenly found myself at home from a workplace injury. I thought to myself that there would never be a better time to take this hobby to the next level, so here I am!

I am in the process of developing a YouTube channel and content to fill it with, and I hope you're coming along for the ride!

When I ordered my cutting board from Ottawa Lumber Bin. I wasn’t sure what to expect. What arrived absolutely blew my expectations away! My board was so beautiful, I almost felt bad using it for its intended purpose as a cutting board. Having said that, I have been using it for the past month or so and it has held up remarkably well. I have used it for vegetable and meat preparation, as well as a charcuterie board for guests, and it looks as good as the day it arrived. The Ottawa Lumber Bin is a truly hidden gem of a local company!
