Handmade Christmas Gifts, Delivered on Time

Every year, Ottawa Lumber Bin runs a dedicated Christmas production block — boards / picture frames produced and shipped with one goal in mind: your gift arrives before December 25th. We've never missed a Christmas deadline. 

LOCAL ORDERS: order by December 15th. SHIPPING ACROSS CANADA: order by December 9th to guarantee delivery in time.

Each board is handcrafted in Ottawa from premium hardwood species — maple, walnut, white oak, cherry, and purpleheart — and finished with food-grade mineral oil and beeswax. A cutting board from Ottawa Lumber Bin isn't a gift that gets forgotten. It's the one that stays on the counter.

Your Spot in the Queue

Christmas orders are fulfilled in the order they're received. 

The sooner you order, the sooner your board goes into production and the more breathing room there is before the cutoff. Last year, early orders gave us time to get creative. Late orders got done too — but there's no reason to add pressure to either side. Be sure to secure your spot!

How It Works


Every year we set aside a block of time that belongs to Christmas orders and nothing else. Production begins November 24, and every piece is made and shipped in the order it was received.


Ordering opens October 27. From that day forward, every order goes into the Christmas queue — we'll take it as a gift meant to arrive before the 25th. Your place in line is set the moment you order, so the earlier your order, the earlier it ships.


Nothing begins to be built before November 24 (We accumulate orders for a month). If you need a piece before that, get in touch with us before ordering!
