The Original Walnut Edge Grain Cutting Board is built the way cutting boards should be - solid, honest, and made to last. Crafted from premium black walnut, it brings rich, dark grain and serious durability to your kitchen counter.
Why walnut?
Black walnut is one of the hardest domestic hardwoods available - dense enough to withstand heavy use, fine-grained enough to be gentle on knife edges. Its deep chocolate tones also make it one of the most striking boards we make.
Surprisingly lightweight.
Despite its solid hardwood construction, this board is remarkably light - easy to move, easy to store, and comfortable to use every day.
Finished with food grade mineral oil and beeswax. Handmade in Ottawa.

Maintenance & Care
- Wash your board with a moist cloth after use and ensure it's completely dry.
- Never soak your board / do not put in dishwasher.
- Reapply mineral oil and/or beeswax when your board starts to look like it's drying or loses its vibrancy.
- Keeping your board properly oiled will repel water, stains and will ensure you have it for years to come.
